A Poem on an Engineer!

Engineer woh hain
jo aksar phasta hain

Interviews ke sawaal mey
Badi companiyon ke jaal mey
Boss aur client ke bawaal mey

Engineer woh hain
jo pak gaya hain
Meetings ki jhelai mey
Submissions ki gehraai mey
Teamwork ki chataai mey

Engineer woh hain
jo laga rehta hain
Schedule ko failane mey
Targets ko khiskaane mey
Roz naye-naye bahaane banane mey

Engineer woh hain
jo lunch time mey Breakfast karta hain
Dinner time mey Lunch karta hain aur
Commutation ke waqt soya karta hain

Engineer woh hain
jo paagal hain
Chai aur samose ke pyaar mey
Cigarette ke khumaar mey
Birdwatching ke vichaar mey

Engineer woh hain
jo khoya hain
Reminders ke jawaab mey
Na milne waale hisaab mey
Behtar Bhavishya ke khwaab mey

Engineer woh hain
jise intezaar hain
Weekend nights par dhoom machaane ka
Boss ke chutti par jaane ka
Increment ki khabar aane ka

Engineer woh hain
jo sochta hain
Kaash padhaai par dhyaan diya hota
Kaash teacher se panga na liya hota
Kaash ishq na kiya hota....

Kaash....

Sonnet For An Unforgettable Teacher

When I began your class I think I knew
The kind of challenges you'd make me face.
You gave me motivation to pursue
The best, and to reject the commonplace.

Your thinking really opened up my mind.
With wisdom, style and grace, you made me see,
That what I'd choose to seek, I'd surely find;
You shook me out of my complacency.
I thank you now for everything you've done;

What you have taught me I will not outgrow.
Your kind attention touched my mind and heart;
In many ways that you will never know.

I will remember you my whole life through;
I wish that all my teachers were like you.

smile

Smiling is infectious,
you catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner,
and someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized,I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile,
then I realized its worth.
A single smile just like mine,
could travel round the earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin,
don't leave it undetected.
Let's start an epidemic quick,
and get the world infected!

First Love Is like Playing with Fire

First love is like playing with fire:
Aglow with pain and glory.
Tell me, my dear first love,
Whether I'm burned into your heart.
The fire in your body,

The glory of your touch:
Ah! my dear first love,
Never, never leave my heart!
Although the fire is distant,

The pain is always near.
My dear first love, please listen:
I hold you in my heart.

Lovely Poem

I Do Not Know You Well, But What I Know !!

I do not know you well, but what I knowEnchants me,
like a song sung far away.I cannot hear the words,
but what they sayHangs softly on the hills where I must go.
I see you furtively and note your eyes,Hazel and dreamy,

your spirit half elsewhere;I note the sheen of your dark,
lustrous hairAnd wish I knew your thoughts and shared your cries.
This love brings me sweet pain, but I want more,

Driven by a dream I can't control.I want the truth of you,
untamed and whole; In frantic hope I haunt your open door.

How Can I Tell You What I Feel for You !!

How can I tell you what I feel for you?
When I think of you my feelings twist insideAs if someone's fist reached in and grabbed a few,
And turned and turned them tight and tangled.
I've triedSomehow to say: You're the sun in my sky,
The wind that takes me where I want to go,
The sweet incense that makes me feel so highThat loving you seems all I need to know.
But it all sticks in my throat! It sounds too cute,
Empty as a wrinkled paper bag.
You won't believe it! Better I stay mute
Than offer you cliches that make you gag.
And yet I wish to tell you of my love,
If only love its own locks would remove!
